Time to get on my hate for our friends across the border. But seriously, I don't really enjoy the company of Americans. Many of them are arrogant and love guns. They sometimes are over weight as well. It can get a little sad to think about some of them. Once when I was a young gun I went on a trip to USA. I met an american guy who was roughly 382 lbs. He had red hair and a giant gap between his teeth. He smelled terribly. Like sweat and cheap beer. He told me he had once shot someone when he was drunk. I believe he was swearing sweat pants.

The 5 real things the US needs to know about Canada.

1. Toronto is the center of the universe.
2. Jon Bernier would have stopped that breakaway today.
3. If the US wins, it's because Taylor Hall wasn't on the team.
4. If the US wins by 1 goal or in OT, it's because Jordan Eberle wasn't there with his Canadian heroics.
5. The Latvian goalie is really Ben Scrivens and since Scrivens > Quick, Canada will score more than 2 goals next game for sure.

if you actually watched the games you'd realize they did dominate the other teams. They ran into a hot goalie and struggled with some bounces and shots. They out shout Latvia 57-16 and had possession of the puck for basically the whole game, but that's not dominating

I can't be certain if this is satire like some of the fanposts have been in terms of degrading teams and players but you sound like an idiot in just about every sentence you've typed. Stammer injured his tibia, subban is being sat because he may prove to be a defensive liability, if you talk to any hockey savvy american they'll know where Canada is. All of these teams, players and their fans should be respected and you claiming to be humble at the end is a joke. If you were being serious please sterilize yourself immediatly or learn about what you're talking about. Oh and i almost forgot if it wasn't for american business interests and promotion you probably wouldn't even know about the sport.

People are driving me crazy talking about the Americans being the favorites. Canada has been nearly perfect, except they haven't buried their chances. We all know this can't go on forever.

Of course the Americans are going to fire a few more shots than Finland and Latvia, but when its all said and done, Jonathan Quick better be prepared for the busiest game of his life because he's about to face the firing squad.

Im not the c0cky Canadian that says USA has no chance in hell. But its going to take the best performance of Jonathan Quick's life... or a breakdown by Carey Price.

Talented players like these guys don't get shut down forever. I predict a 5-1 victory, as it should be.

I dont see it as a blow out at all. I think the teams are evely matched. If this were a series I think Canada has the upperhand, but in a one game "Playoff" anything can happen.
